Job summary

Smartworks in Gurugram is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure applications. You will lead architectures and collaborate with product, UI/UX, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software.

The role requires 6+ years in software development with MERN, Java, and Python, plus experience with microservices, REST APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud platforms. You will mentor juniors and drive engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience building scalable enterprise or SaaS applications.
• Exposure to DevOps, cloud-native development, and distributed systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands‑on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and System Design.
• Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and modern development practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and communication skills.
