Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer II (Fullstack) for a fully remote role based in India. You will develop scalable backend services, design REST APIs, and build responsive frontend interfaces using Vue.js and TypeScript within a distributed SaaS platform.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end features, tackle performance challenges, and apply an AI-first mindset across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on backend development experience with Node.js.
• Frontend development experience with Vue.js, React, Angular, or a comparable modern framework.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of component-based frontend architecture and reusable UI development.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD practices, and automated testing.
• Strong debugging skills across both frontend and backend systems.
• Ability to independently design and deliver medium-complexity software features.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively across multiple technical layers.
• An AI-first mindset when approaching software design, implementation, testing, and debugging.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with Product, Design, QA, and engineering stakeholders.
• Experience working effectively in remote or distributed engineering environments.
• Experience with high-scale SaaS products is a plus.
• Familiarity with Vue 2/Vue 3 and state-management technologies such as Pinia or Redux is advantageous.
• Experience with NestJS, MongoDB, Firestore, Redis, Elasticsearch, or OpenSearch is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, caching layers, and asynchronous processing systems.
• Optimize APIs, database queries, and backend services for performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Develop reusable frontend components for CRM experiences involving lists, filters, search, files, notes, tags, and large datasets.
• Integrate frontend applications cleanly and reliably with backend APIs.
• Translate product requirements into practical technical designs and implementation plans.
• Own features across database, API, and user-interface layers from development through deployment.
• Participate in technical design discussions and API contract definition.
• Test, deploy, and monitor features in production environments.
• Write maintainable, testable, and high-quality code while participating in peer code reviews.
• Investigate and resolve frontend and backend production issues.
• Improve the performance, reliability, usability, monitoring, and observability of existing features.
• Apply an AI-first approach to design, development debugging, and engineering workflows.
