About the Role
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer-II (Backend), with healthcare domain knowledge. You will collaborate with other engineers to develop services enabling data exchange across the healthcare IT ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Build efficient, reusable applications and abstractions
- Identify and promote best practices
- Participate in all project phases from ideation to deployment
- Enhance platform performance, scalability, stability, and security
- Improve engineering standards, tools, and processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience with a startup mentality and eagerness to learn
- Knowledge of AI's role in development acceleration
- Expertise in Python and RESTful APIs
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerization
- Experience with RDBMS & NoSQL databases like Postgres, MongoDB
- Solution architecture experience
- Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar queuing services (preferred)
- Familiarity with HL7 FHIR or other healthcare interoperability formats
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
