Amazon Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for the FinAuto - GREF Workplace Support Tech team. You will own services end to end across Connect, AI-assisted triage, and work-order integration, delivering features used by thousands of employees and facilities agents daily.
You will collaborate with product managers, senior and peer engineers, and have autonomy to drive decisions with direct customer impact, while mentorship from senior engineers supports growth and learning.
The GREF Workplace Support Technology team, part of Finance Automation, develops services, products, and tools to enable Amazon's corporate real estate team to build and operate the company's global facilities in more than 60 countries, which is the largest corporate real estate footprint in the world.
We builds the software that keeps Amazon's global workplaces running — from the helpdesk chat and ticketing systems employees use to report issues, to the automation that routes and resolves millions of facilities work orders behind the scenes. As an SDE II, you'll own services end to end across our Amazon Connect, AI-assisted triage, and work-order integration stack, shipping features that thousands of employees and facilities agents depend on every day.
We are seeking a passionate software development engineer who can help us create the next generation of real estate systems and support the GREF organization.
As a software development engineer in the team, you will get to collaborate with product managers, senior and peer-level software engineers across Finance Automation organization. This role provides you with autonomy and ownership on decisions, working backwards directly from customers. There is ample opportunity for growth due to the high visibility work and presence of senior engineering talent for guidance and mentorship.
The Workplace Support Tech team sits within FinAuto Global Real Estate & Facilities and is on a multi-year mission to transform how Amazon employees get help with their physical workplace worldwide — from reporting a facilities issue to getting it resolved. We build the helpdesk, intelligent ticket‑routing, and work-order automation that keep Amazon's buildings running, backed by Amazon Connect agent tooling and AI-assisted resolution. If you want to build products at global scale that make a tangible difference in how people work, we would love to hear from you.
