Job description

Amazon External Payments is building the foundational capabilities for Agentic Payments. As a Software Development Engineer (SDE2), you will own the development of these core building blocks, enabling intelligent agents to complete purchases on behalf of customers. You will collaborate closely with Global Payment Tech to design and deliver payment primitives for wallet integration, tokenisation and agentic deals, set the technical vision for your team, influence the broader technology roadmap, and drive continuous architectural and performance improvements.

It enables e-commerce websites to accept payments using the payment methods stored in customers’ Amazon.com accounts, allowing users to seamlessly pay for goods and services beyond Amazon. Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
