Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

We are looking for software engineers who thrive on complex problems and relish the challenge of operating complex and mission critical systems under high loads. Or would you like to learn more and stretch your skills and career? As SDE II here, you will build, scale, monitor, and optimize systems within AFFS. You will interface with several teams including Retail Systems, Marketplace Systems, Digital Systems, Web services, Financial systems and operations. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to all parts of the software development and deployment lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing and operations. They must possess verbal and written communication skills, be self-driven and deliver high quality results in a fast paced environment. They need to enjoy working closely with their peers in a group of very smart and talented engineers.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
