Software Development Engineer – Integrated Engineer

Software Development Engineers are responsible for the development of computer programming systems and applications, including design, coding, testing, and deployment of products and solutions to meet organizational obligations. The focus specializes in the design, development, and testing of software systems for enhancements and new products, including cloud-based or internet‑related tools. Engineers conduct and evaluate application audits and testing processes, ensuring that applications or products meet defined quality standards, and may create documentation for future maintenance.

Cloud Development Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, test, and troubleshoot cloud‑based applications.
• Work across the complete cloud stack (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) using platforms such as Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office 365, Windows Azure, Google App Engine, and Amazon Web Services/EC2.
• Interact with project managers to deliver optimized solutions within known constraints.
• Understand cloud storage services such as EBS, Amazon S3, and EFS.
• Integrate cloud applications, managing APIs, pre‑ and post‑scripting, and integration testing.

Mobile Development Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, and test mobile applications for Android, iOS, and other platforms.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and project managers to determine requirements, visual design, functionality, and integration.
• Code applications using mobile platform knowledge and cross‑platform development tools.
• Work on mobile security and data management for the application.
• Provide support for released applications by fixing bugs and deploying upgrades.
• Use integrated development platforms such as Xamarin, Kony, Appcelerator, EMM/MDM, iOS SDK, and Android SDK.
