Job summary

RBS in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Software Engineer to join a driven team. You will build and maintain high-performance, secure software and collaborate with engineers, architects and analysts across the platform.

Ideal candidates are 2025 or 2026 graduates with Java and/or AI/ML exposure, familiar with DevOps, testing and Agile practices, and capable of solving complex problems with analytical rigor.

Qualifications

• 2025 or 2026 BE, B.Tech, or M.Tech graduates with academic, internship, or project experience in Java and/or AI/ML technologies.
• Experience of working with development, bug tracking tools and wikis.
• Experience of DevOps, Testing and Agile methodology and associated toolsets.
• A background in solving highly complex, analytical and numerical problems.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain innovative, customer centric, high performance, secure and robust solutions.
• You’ll be working within a feature team and using your extensive experience to engineer software, scripts and tools that are often complex, as well as liaising with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform.
• Working in permanent teams who are responsible for the full life cycle, from initial development, through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning.
• Collaborating to optimise our software engineering capability.
• Designing, producing, testing and implementing our working code.
• Integrating APIs for seamless data exchange between systems.
• Conducting research and staying up-to-date on the latest trends in AI/ML.
