Job summary

Envision Scientific is seeking a skilled Software Developer (NET & PHP) to design, develop, integrate, and support business applications across SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, Quality & Regulatory systems, and in-house PHP/MySQL applications.

The role covers backend development, API and system integration, database development, interface monitoring, and production support to ensure reliable data flow between critical applications.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of PHP and .NET development.
• Good knowledge of C# / ASP.NET / .NET Core and/or PHP frameworks.

• Experience in REST and SOAP API development/integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using PHP and .NET technologies.
• Develop backend services and business applications using PHP, .NET, Node.js, Java, or related technologies.
• Build and maintain applications using MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable code following established coding standards.
• Troubleshoot application defects and implement effective technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain system interfaces across SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, Quality & Regulatory systems, and in-house PHP/MySQL applications
• Design, develop, and maintain REST and SOAP APIs; implement webhook-based integrations.
• Maintain the Interface Register with accurate information on source, target, data flow, dependencies, and interface owner.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects; work with MySQL and MS SQL Server; exposure to NoSQL desirable.
• Monitor application interfaces and integration jobs; provide production support for business-critical applications and integrations.
• Follow secure coding practices and ISO 27001 controls; ensure authentication, authorization, data protection, and secure API development.
• Design and execute test cases; maintain test evidence; support defect analysis and resolution throughout the lifecycle.
• Use Git for version control and follow CI/CD practices for builds, testing, and deployments.

The candidate should be comfortable balancing new development with ongoing production support and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Develop,enhance, and maintain applications using PHP and .NET technologies.
• Develop backend services and business applications using PHP, .NET, Node.js, Java, or related technologies.
• Build and maintain applications using MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable code following established coding standards.

API & System Integration

• Design, develop, and maintain system interfaces across:

• Implement third-party system integrations and webhook-based integrations.
• Understand data flow, dependencies, authentication, error handling, and integration architecture.

Database & Data Management

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
• Work with MySQL and MS SQL Server databases.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases is desirable.
• Perform data reconciliation and validation across integrated systems.
• Develop and support batch processing and data exchange mechanisms.

Production Support & Monitoring

• Monitor application interfaces and integration jobs.
• Investigate interface failures and identify root causes.
• Perform failure handling, reprocessing, and data correction within agreed service levels.
• Provide production support for business-critical applications and integrations.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for incident resolution and system recovery.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and evidence for incidents, fixes, and reprocessing activities.

Security & Compliance

• Follow secure coding practices and application security standards.
• Ensure development activities align with ISO 27001 controls, including A.8.28 Secure Coding.
• Apply appropriate controls for authentication, authorization, data protection, input validation, and secure API development.
• Follow organizational change management, access control, and documentation requirements.

Testing & Quality

• Design and execute test cases for application and integration changes.
• Include positive, negative, boundary, and volume test scenarios.
• Validate data flow and reconciliation across source and target systems.
• Maintain recorded test evidence as required by organizational and quality procedures.
• Support defect analysis and resolution throughout the development lifecycle.

Source Control & Deployment

• Use source control systems such as Git for version management.
• Follow basic CI/CD practices for application build, testing, and deployment.
• Support controlled releases and deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments.

Required Technical Skills
