Job summary

Luxoft in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design and implement high-performance C/C++ for Broadcom ASIC-based networking platforms. You will analyze requirements, drive design reviews, and propose scalable architectures for new features.

You will lead datapath work, optimize TCAM and buffer usage, and collaborate with Product Marketing, SQA and development teams to ensure performance, interop, and security across Broadcom architectures.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant industry experience in Networking/Telecom- Embedded/Network Management.
• Excellent programming knowledge in C/C++ and packet forwarding experience.
• Experience with Broadcom ASICs and networking hardware resources (TCAM, buffers, RIB/FIB).
• Expertise in IPv4/IPv6 routing, MPLS, VxLAN, and SDN concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Project description

Perform embedded system software design and implementation for leading high-performance data networking products as a member of a highly capable and dynamic engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, design, develop and deliver high-quality software along with functional teams.
• Participate in SW Design reviews, articulate system software requirements
• Propose design architectures and solutions for new features and enhancements on Broadcom ASICs
• Experiment and project various performance/scale tweaks with optimal use of Board HW devices and SW resource
• Demonstrate cross functional collaboration with Product Marketing, SQA and other development teams to ensure software meets all performance, scalability, interop, and security requirements
• Lead datapath team, interact cross-functionally on matters that require coordination across organization lines.
• Write functional and design specification documents and drive sign-off. Interface with developers, QA, documentation & customer support & program management teams.
• Participate in full product life cycle development.

SKILLS

• Minimum of B.S./B.E./B.Tech in CS/EE/ECE/IT
