Position Overview and Objective

Build scalable backend solutions that power Arctic Wolf's cybersecurity platform and help protect thousands of organizations from evolving cyber threats. As a Software Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of mission‑critical backend services that support Arctic Wolf's security products and cloud‑native applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting‑edge cybersecurity and AI‑driven platforms while gaining hands‑on experience with cloud architecture, deployment automation, and scalable distributed systems. You'll play an important role in delivering high‑quality software, improving operational efficiency, and driving innovation as part of a collaborative and fast‑paced engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs using C# and .NET technologies.
• Build, deploy, and support cloud‑native applications on AWS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using Ansible and related DevOps tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application and deployment issues across development, staging, and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to operational excellence by improving automation, deployment efficiency, system reliability, and observability.

Experience & Expertise

• 3-6 years of experience in backend software development, building scalable and reliable applications.
• Strong hands‑on experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, and backend API development.
• Experience working in AWS cloud environments and developing cloud‑native applications.
• Good understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and system architecture.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams in Agile development environments.

Core Technologies

• Backend Development: Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Web API, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, SQS, and SNS.
• DevOps & Deployment: Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Infrastructure & Automation: Experience with Ansible, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts, and deployment automation.
• Containers & Orchestration: Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Databases: Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of cloud‑native architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security fundamentals.
• Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimizing backend services.
