Job summary

Innovacore India is seeking an experienced C#/.NET Developer with PLC integration and industrial automation experience. You will design, develop, and maintain applications that communicate with PLCs, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include working with MS SQL Server, Entity Framework, and APIs; collaborating with automation engineers; participating in Agile processes; and providing second-line application support.

Qualifications

• Must-have C#/.NET Framework development skills with PLC integration.
• Experience with PLC systems in industrial automation or manufacturing.
• Strong MS SQL Server knowledge and SQL query development.
• Experience with Entity Framework integration.
• Experience in unit testing with NUnit or similar frameworks.
• Ability to provide second-line application support and incident management.

We are looking for an experienced C#/.NET Developer with strong hands-on experience working with PLC-based systems and industrial automation applications.The role involves developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting applications integrated with PLC systems, providing second-line application support, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using C#/.NET Framework integrated with PLC systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC-related application issues, communication failures, and system integrations.
• Provide second-line application support, including incident and service request management.
• Develop and test new functionalities and application enhancements.
• Work with MS SQL, Entity Framework, and APIs for application development and integration.
• Collaborate with automation engineers and cross‑functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in agile development, continuous improvement, and project activities.

Required Technical Skills (Must-Have)

• C#/.NET Framework: Strong hands‑on application development experience.
• PLC Systems: Practical experience working with PLC‑integrated applications in industrial automation or manufacturing environments.
• PLC Integration & Troubleshooting: Experience developing, supporting, or troubleshooting applications communicating with PLC systems.
• MS SQL Server: Strong database knowledge and SQL query development.
• Entity Framework: Experience with database integration.
• Unit Testing: NUnit, FakeItEasy, or similar frameworks.
• Application Support: Incident management and technical troubleshooting.
• Agile: Experience working in agile development environments.

Good-to-Have Skills

• PLC programming knowledge (Siemens, Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley, etc.).

Candidates with only C#/.NET development experience without PLC exposure, or only PLC programming experience without C#/.NET development skills, will not be considered a strong match.
