We are looking for a skilled and passionate C++ Software Developer to join our team working on industrial-grade automation software. You will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems for real-world embedded and server-side applications in the retail automation domain.
Who We Are: Were a fast-moving tech team building next-gen retail automation software that powers fuel stations across the country. Our systems talk to hardware in real time, handle thousands of transactions, and need to be rock-solid. We move fast, we ship real things, and we want sharp engineers who love solving hard problems. If you live and breathe C++ and get a kick out of seeing your code run on actual machines in the real world, we should talk.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Building and owning C++ backend systems that communicate with hardware over Serial Channels and TCP/IP
- Writing multithreaded code that actually performs in the meantime
- Working deep in the stack: sockets, protocols, data pipelines, the whole thing
- Debugging gnarly issues and squashing them with confidence
- Shipping on Linux (Ubuntu): building, testing, deploying
- Collaborating via Git / GitLab in a fast-paced team environment
- Writing tests because you genuinely care about what you ship
What Were Looking For:Must-Haves
- 3+ years of pure C++ development not a sprinkle of C++ on top of something else
- Solid grip on C++11/14 and modern STL strings, maps, lists, vectors, threading primitives
- Real experience with Serial Communication and TCP socket programming
- Comfortable writing and reasoning about multithreaded applications
- At home on a Linux (Ubuntu) terminal — you know your way around make, gcc, shell scripts
- Strong debugging skills; logger or whatever gets the job done
- Doing unit tests without being told to
- Uses Git / GitLab like second nature
Your Background
- Degree in Computer Science, BCA, BCS, MCA, MCS, B.E./B.Tech
Bonus Points:
- You’ve used POCO libraries for networking or threading
- You know your way around RabbitMQ and async messaging
- You’ve touched PostgreSQL and can write a decent query
- You’ve worked in retail automation, forecourt systems, or POS/dispenser tech; you already speak our language
- You’ve dealt with Modbus RTU/TCP or similar industrial protocols
- Embedded / STM32 experience? Even better
The Kind of Engineer We Vibe With:
- Someone who reads old code and figures it out instead of rewriting everything
- Obsessed with getting the details right: protocols, edge cases, failure modes
- Communicates clearly, asks good questions, doesn’t disappear into a rabbit hole for weeks
- Wants to grow into system design, embedded, architecture, wherever your curiosity takes you
What You Get:
- Work on real systems running in the real world, not another CRUD app
- A team that respects engineering and moves without unnecessary bureaucracy
- Room to own things and grow fast
