Job summary

InfoSun Technology Private Limited, a partner to global logistics and supply chain leaders, seeks a Software Developer in Mumbai. You will build Python-based data pipelines on our analytics platform, develop dashboards, and ensure reliable production workflows while collaborating with analysts, product stakeholders, and external vendors.

The role focuses on hands-on development with data pipelines, APIs, and analytics solutions, including AI-assisted tools, and involves working across inventory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in Python.
• Hands on experience building scalable, maintainable applications and backend services.
• Strong SQL skills with analytical databases (ClickHouse, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar).
• Experience integrating with external REST APIs and error handling.
• Experience establishing frameworks, coding standards, and development best practices.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, version control, and development workflows.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with stakeholders and vendors.
• Ability to balance hands-on development with product ownership responsibilities.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to build and operate the Python based data pipelines and applications that run on our internal Data Analytics platform. This role is focused on hands-- on development: writing and maintaining Python pipelines, working with data on a building dashboards and reports, and keeping everything running reliably in production. scale, You will collaborate with internal analysts, product stakeholders, and external vendor teams to deliver high quality, maintainable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Python-based data pipelines on the DA platform, including data validation, cleanup, enrichment, and report generation steps.
• Integrate with external APIs to pull in third party data, including handling batch requests and trouble shooting failures.
• Build dashboards and visualizations (D3.js, Chart.js) to present pipeline outputs to business stakeholders.
• Monitor, debug, and fix recurring pipeline and platform issues (data type errors, schema mismatches, failed jobs) to keep production workflows reliable.
• Explore and apply AI assisted tools (e.g., LLM APIs, AI agents) where they can speed up development or improve pipeline outputs.
• Build backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that support analytics workflows, including inventory optimization, network analysis, and other supply chain models.
• Implement testing, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation standards to ensure reliability and maintainability of applications.
• Serve as team SME on technical standards, agile practices, and software development methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3 -5 + years of professional software development experience, preferably in Python.
• Hands on experience building scalable, maintainable applications and backend services.
• Strong SQL skills, including experience with a large -scale /analytical database (e.g ClickHouse, BigQuery , Redshift, or similar).
• Experience integrating with external REST APIs, including batch calls and error handling.
• Experience establishing frameworks, coding standards, and development best practices in a growing team.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, version control , and development workflows.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Proven ability to balance hands on development with product ownership responsibilities.
• Exposure to analytics pipelines, data modeling, or optimization workflows.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations technology.
• Exposure to AI/ML tools e.g., using LLM APIs or building AI agents within an application or workflow.
• Familiarity with lowcode/no code data platforms.
• Experience mentoring developers or guiding technical decisions for small teams.
• Comfortable operating in a startup like environment with evolving priorities.
