Job summary

Ericsson is seeking an experienced software developer to join our team in India. The candidate should have 9+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong Java Enterprise skills and exposure to multi-threading, collections, and design patterns.

Responsibilities include contributing to software development environments with Git and Gradle, emphasizing a quality mindset with unit testing (JUnit), and working in Lean & Agile teams.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of documented professional experience in SW development.
• Solid object-oriented Java (Enterprise) programming skills, with exposure to multi-threading, collections, and design patterns.
• Experience in Software development environments and tools like Git/Gradle.
• Quality mindset, good experience in unit and function testing. Preferably, experience with Junit.
• Experience from working with Lean & Agile principles and like to work in a flexible team environment.
• Exposure to Kubernetes or containerized application deployment workflows.
• Experience with DB handling (table and query optimizations, indexing etc.)
• Prior experience on Linux as development environment is preferred.
• English proficiency both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a flexible Agile team to design and implement software features.
• Contribute to code reviews and maintain a high quality of codebase.
• Develop and maintain tests using JUnit and related testing tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software on schedule.
