Job summary

Access is seeking a Software Developer to join our hybrid team in Guindy, Chennai. You will design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and MS SQL Server while collaborating with cross-functional teams across locations.

This role welcomes fresh graduates or those with limited experience, offers a roster-based hybrid work model, and requires strong problem-solving and communication skills to support migration projects including Java Spring Boot and Node.js.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in ASP.NET, C#, .NET Framework, MVC, and MS SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, MVC, and MS SQL Server.
• Work on existing web applications involving Web Services, APIs, JSON, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into reliable technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Work with relational databases, stored procedures, queries, and data-driven application logic using MS SQL Server.
• Participate in application modernization and migration initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, BA, QA teams, architects, and offshore/onshore stakeholders.
• Support future migration efforts involving Java Spring Boot, MongoDB, Node.js, and related technologies.
• Communicate effectively with US-based team members/ customers and be available for overlapping hours with US time zones.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, and MVC.

• Good experience with MS SQL Server and relational database concepts.

• Experience developing and consuming Web Services and APIs.

• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.

• Experience with Telerik controls.

• Exposure to modern application architecture, REST APIs, microservices, and migration projects.

Qualifications:

• Relevant hands-on experience in software development using ASP.NET, C#, .NET Framework, MVC, and MS SQL Server.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, coding standards, and debugging practices.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Willingness to work with a few hours of overlap with US customers across US time zones.
