Job summary

Lenovo is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead MVP development of AI-driven digital workplace solutions. You will guide cross‑functional teams, engage with customers, and align architecture with Lenovo’s CTO roadmap. Strong hands-on development, MVP-to-product scaling, and collaboration with partners are essential.

You will oversee end‑to‑end MVP programs, ensure secure by design implementations, and drive best practices across the stack in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

An experienced ServiceNow Architect with all round technical expertise in engaging with customers to build solutions, engage with development teams to develop the solutions and work with customer technical teams for deployment and ongoing product enhancement. Hands-on experience in the past with end-to-end development, from ideation to deployment is essential. He/she will be responsible in guiding product t teams developing Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for a range of AI-driven ServiceNow digital workplace solutions focused on productivity, user experience, process/workflow efficiency and automation. He/she shall act as a partner for presales teams and offer technical expertise to face customers in consultative capacity to understand the challenges and pain points to propose appropriate solution. He/she will then liaison with development teams to develop MVPs and further scale them into full-featured products. He/she must collaborate with the CTO and other members of the CTO organization to design the architecture of new products and features. Ensure that solutions/products are developed either as scoped application or marketplace application or custom development for Lenovo customers as required and must be well-structured, maintainable, and aligned with long‑term technical strategy of Lenovo.

Job Responsibilities

Below listed are the key responsibilities the suitable expert is expected to deliver.

MVP Development

• Architect, develop, and deploy robust and scalable applications/solutions on ServiceNow platform for orchestration, integration and automation.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other teams to translate high-level product requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Break down technical specifications into features and capabilities for the target state and document them for the project teams to understand and deliver.
• Work with security privacy compliance team to ensure the applications are secure by design and comply with privacy laws across the globe
• Select most appropriate technologies and frameworks for each project to ensure efficiency and performance.
• Build the core functionality of the product, including frontend user interfaces, backend logic, and database systems leveraging frontend frameworks and backend APIs as necessary.

AI and Machine Learning Integration

• Design and implement AI and machine learning models to enable predictive and proactive capabilities for the products being developed.
• Perform synthetic data simulation, data preparation, model training, and integration of AI services into the product effectively.
• Leverage appropriate tools and APIs to drive intelligent decision‑making capabilities based on data analytics to create automated, and efficient workflows within the product.

Technical Leadership Liaison

• Be the technical evangelist for Lenovo customers and sales/presales teams. Also, act as technical consultant for technology internal/external development teams.
• Liaise with partners (e.g., ServiceNow, Lakeside) and ISVs (e.g., Yellow.AI) to integrate their capabilities into the products being developed.
• Drive best coding and documentation practices for the development teams to ensure maintainable, and well‑documented code across the entire stack, perform code reviews for standards and compliance along with relevant teams.
• Actively be involved in all phases of the product lifecycle, beyond initial concept and design to deployment, maintenance, and ongoing iteration.
• Provide technical guidance when required to ensure successful completion of product development on time.
• Articulate any complex technical concepts and product prerequisites to implementation/transformation teams.

Required Skills Qualifications

Programming/Development Expertise

• Expert level of proficiency in ServiceNow as a platform and all commonly used modules of ServiceNow including Now Assist
• Expertise in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, .NET, Go) and a deep understanding of their associated frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) and ecosystems.

AI/ML Expertise

• Experience in working with AI libraries and various modules of ServiceNow
• Practical experience of integrating various platforms with ServiceNow

Full-Stack Capabilities

• A strong track record demonstrating successful implementation of ServiceNow as a platform and custom applications on ServiceNow.

Communication Skills

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to lead and mentor remote teams and present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

Problem-Solving Ability

• A creative and pragmatic problem-solver that can quickly build functional prototypes and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications Required

• A technical bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• ServiceNow expert level certification would be preferrable
• A strong portfolio or public code repository (e.g., GitHub)
• Familiarity with DevOps best practices and tools.
• Prior experience in a start-up environment or a similar role focused on rapid prototyping and iterative development.
• 12+ years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualities

• Experience of working directly working under executive leadership
• Prior experience developing products for the digital workplace or enterprise SaaS market
• Hands‑on experience with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), or other cutting‑edge AI technologies including and beyond Now LLM
