Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Soft Services Manager to lead workplace and facility support operations at its site in India. The role covers housekeeping, hospitality, waste management, dormitory operations and vendor performance, ensuring safety, compliance and employee-centric service delivery aligned with Micron standards.

The incumbent will drive continuous improvement, manage contracts and SLAs, and partner with security and other functions to enable seamless service across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 12-15+ years of experience in Facilities Management, Soft Services, Hospitality, or Workplace Operations in MNC environment.
• Strong experience in vendor management, workplace operations, and stakeholder coordination.
• Knowledge of workplace safety, compliance requirements, and operational best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead housekeeping, janitorial, deep cleaning, façade cleaning and workplace hygiene services.
• Oversee employee transportation for staff and visitors.
• Manage cafeteria, pantry, vending machines, landscaping, indoor plants and employee amenities.
• Administer employee dormitories as required.
• Oversee Environmental Health Service such as mosquito management.
• Coordinate with security on operations, access control, emergency preparedness and safety initiatives.
• Drive waste management, recycling, pest control and sustainability programs.
• Manage soft services vendors, contracts, SLAs, KPIs and performance reviews.
• Support facility planning, workplace upgrades, layout changes and infrastructure projects.
• Apply AI to review project costs, vendor proposals and ensure compliance with drawings and schedules.
• Conduct audits to ensure Micron safety, environmental and operational standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for seamless service delivery across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage housekeeping, janitorial, deep cleaning, façade cleaning, and workplace hygiene services.
• Manage Transportation for employees, visitors as required
• Oversee cafeteria, pantry, vending Machines, landscaping, indoor plants, and employee amenities.
• Manage Dormitory for employees as required
• Manage Environmental Health Service such as Mosquito management
• Closely work with security team - operations, access control, emergency preparedness, and workplace safety initiatives.
• Drive waste management, recycling, pest control, and sustainability programs.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 12-15+ years of experience in Facilities Management, Soft Services, Hospitality, or Workplace Operations in MNC environment.
• Strong experience in vendor management, workplace operations, and stakeholder coordination.
• Knowledge of workplace safety, compliance requirements, and operational best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, semiconductors, technology, or large corporate environments.
• Professional certification in Facilities or Workplace Management is preferred.
