Responsibilities

• Manage housekeeping, janitorial, deep cleaning, façade cleaning, and workplace hygiene services.
• Oversee transportation for employees and visitors.
• Supervise cafeteria, pantry, vending, landscaping, and employee amenities.
• Manage dormitory facilities for employees.
• Coordinate Environmental Health Services such as mosquito management.
• Collaborate with security on operations, access control, and safety.
• Drive waste management and sustainability programs.
• Manage soft services vendors, SLAs, KPIs, and reviews.
• Support facility planning, upgrades, and infrastructure projects.
• Apply AI to review costs, vendor proposals, and ensure compliance with drawings and schedules.
• Conduct audits to ensure safety and standards.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved employee experience.
• Partner with internal stakeholders for seamless service delivery.

The Soft Services Manager will lead workplace and facility support operations to ensure a safe, compliant, efficient, and employee-focused environment aligned with Micron standards. The role will oversee housekeeping, hospitality, waste management, landscaping, transportation, Dormitory, Permits, Food and Canteen Services and vendor performance while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage housekeeping, janitorial, deep cleaning, façade cleaning, and workplace hygiene services.
• Manage Transportation for employees, visitors as required.
• Oversee cafeteria, pantry, vending Machines, landscaping, indoor plants, and employee amenities.
• Manage Dormitory for employees as required.
• Manage Environmental Health Service such as Mosquito management.
• Closely work with security team - operations, access control, emergency preparedness, and workplace safety initiatives.
• Drive waste management, recycling, pest control, and sustainability programs.
• Manage soft service vendors, contracts, SLAs, KPIs, and performance reviews.
• Support facility planning, workplace upgrades, layout changes, and infrastructure projects.
• Applying artificial intelligence to review project costs, vendor proposals, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with Micron safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and enhanced employee experience.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 12-15+ years of experience in Facilities Management, Soft Services, Hospitality, or Workplace Operations in MNC environment.
• Strong experience in vendor management, workplace operations, and stakeholder coordination.
• Knowledge of workplace safety, compliance requirements, and operational best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, semiconductors, technology, or large corporate environments.
• Professional certification in Facilities or Workplace Management is preferred.
