We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Manager/Coordinator to manage our company s social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy, creating and curating engaging content, and interacting with our online community. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, a passion for storytelling, and a data-driven approach to measure success.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning:
Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with brand messaging and business objectives.
Create and maintain a content calendar, ensuring a consistent and timely flow of content across all platforms.
Conduct audience and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, platform developments, and emerging trends.
Content Creation & Curation:
Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging daily content (e.g., text, images, videos, memes) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community interaction.
Work with the marketing and creative teams to produce original, high-quality multimedia content.
Adapt content to suit the specific tone and audience of each social media platform.
Oversee the brand s visual identity and voice on social media, ensuring all content is on-brand.
Community Engagement & Management:
Monitor all social media channels, including comments, messages, and mentions, and respond promptly and professionally.
Foster and manage an online community by initiating discussions and engaging with followers.
Act as the first line of customer service by addressing inquiries and escalating issues when necessary.
Analytics & Reporting:
Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, impressions, traffic, conversions) using tools like Google Analytics and platform-specific insights.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize future social media campaigns.
Present monthly reports on social media performance to stakeholders.
Campaign Management:
Assist in the development and execution of social media marketing campaigns, including both organic and paid advertising.
Collaborate with influencers and brand partners to increase reach and engagement.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager/Coordinator or in a similar role.
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
Strong copywriting, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or other editing software
The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of SEO , web traffic metrics, and an understanding of social media KPIs.
A Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is often preferred.
