Job description

Requirements

The Social Media Manager will lead Artlune’s social media and digital content activity across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant channels.

The role goes beyond scheduling posts. You will be expected to understand Artlune’s artistic and cultural positioning, develop creative ideas, turn exhibitions and programmes into compelling digital campaigns, grow our audience and strengthen engagement with collectors, artists, cultural organisations and the South Asian diaspora.

You will also support Artlune’s website, email marketing and SEO activity, ensuring that our digital channels work together as one coherent marketing ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage Artlune’s social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube, including content calendars, regular publishing, profile management, audience engagement and platform growth.

Plan and execute creative content and campaigns around artists, exhibitions, cultural programmes, events, advisory services, launches and other Artlune activities, including founder-led content for LinkedIn and WhatsApp Channel communications.

Independently create social media copy, captions, graphics (support provided), invitations, Reels, Stories, Shorts and other digital content using Canva, video-editing and relevant AI tools.

Transform interviews, artist talks, exhibitions and other existing material into multiple digital formats, while supporting artist features, educational content, collector-focused content and catalogues.

Manage day-to-day Wix updates, artist and event pages, landing pages, blogs and articles, while implementing basic keyword research, on-page SEO and other activities to improve website visibility and traffic.

Plan and deliver newsletters, invitations and targeted campaigns through Brevo, support audience segmentation and automation and work towards growing subscribers and converting digital audiences into meaningful enquiries, attendees and relationships.

Manage comments, direct messages and digital enquiries, and coordinate with artists, event participants and other stakeholders to obtain content and support exhibitions, events and online programmes.

Support the promotion and delivery of Instagram Lives, artist sessions and digital events, while developing interactive formats such as polls, questions, UGC and other initiatives that strengthen audience participation.

Monitor social media, website and email performance, prepare regular reports, identify successful content and areas for improvement, and use audience and performance data to continuously refine Artlune’s digital strategy.

You do not need to have experience with every tool we use. However, you should be confident learning new platforms and using technology and AI tools to improve the speed and quality of your work.

Role

The ideal candidate will have:

2–3 years of hands‑on experience in social media management, digital marketing or content marketing, with strong experience across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Strong content creation and copywriting skills, including planning, writing and producing engaging social content using Canva or similar tools, with basic short‑form video editing ability.

Good understanding of digital audience engagement and analytics, with the ability to monitor performance and use insights to improve content and campaigns.

Strong organisational and communication skills, with excellent written English and the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders independently.

Creative, proactive and adaptable, with a genuine interest in art, culture and creative industries and the ability to develop new ideas rather than simply execute instructions.

Working knowledge of Wix, email marketing and basic SEO, including platforms such as Brevo and tools such as Ahrefs.

Experience with paid social advertising and digital campaigns, including audience targeting and performance optimisation.

Experience with B2B and B2C audience development, community building or digital engagement.

Experience in the arts, cultural, lifestyle or creative sectors, or knowledge of contemporary art and the art market.

About the Company
