Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Hardware Engineer to plan, design, verify and test complex electronic systems, including RTL synthesis, DFT insertions, timing analysis, and ECO flows. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet performance targets for next-generation devices.

The candidate will handle MBIST/SCAN integration, constraint setup, and signoff timing with cross-disciplines, ensuring robust, high-quality silicon and system solutions across digital/analog/DSP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/Engineering or related field with 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in CS/EE/Engineering or related field with 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in CS/EE/Engineering or related field with 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

Responsibilities

• RTL synthesis to optimize performance/power/area.
• DFT insertions including MBIST and SCAN; setup timing constraints for functional and test modes; validation.
• Run static timing checks on gate-level nets; verify RTL-to-Gates and Gates-to-Gates equivalence.
• Set up signoff static timing analysis and ECO flows with Design/DFT/PD teams; achieve timing closure.
• Timing analysis with STA tools; constraints debug and sanity checks.

Minimum Qualifications

Design Implementation

• RTL Synthesis to achieve the best Performance/Power/Area of the designs
• DFT insertions that include MBIST and SCAN, setup Timing Constraints for functional and Test Modes, and Validation.
• Run static Low-Power checks on gate level netlists
• Verify Logic Equivalency Checks between RTL to Gates and Gates to Gates
• Setup signoff Static Timing Analysis and ECO flows and achieve timing closure working with the Design/DFT/PD teams
• Timing analysis with sta tools
• Constraints debug and sanity checks
