Job summary

Devoir Software Solutions Pvt Ltd in Chennai is seeking a Snowflake data warehouse engineer to design, develop, and optimize data warehouse solutions on the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.

You will work with analysts and architects to translate data requirements into scalable Snowflake models, build ETL/ELT pipelines with Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, or dbt, and ensure robust data security, performance, and delivery for BI tools like Power BI and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and implement data warehouse solutions using Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable Snowflake models.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, or dbt.
• Implement data sharing, cloning, and time-travel features in Snowflake to meet business and compliance needs.
• Create and manage Snowflake schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures to support analytical workloads.
• Ensure data security, access control, and RBAC within the Snowflake environment.
• Monitor and optimize query performance, warehouse sizing, and resource utilization for cost-effective operations.
• Integrate Snowflake with AWS, Azure, GCP, Power BI, and Tableau for reporting and analytics.
• Conduct data validation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design end-to-end data solutions that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, data flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Stay updated with Snowflake releases and new features, proactively suggesting improvements and best practices.
