Job Role: Snowflake Developer

Notice Period: Immediate

Act as a subject matter expert in data engineering and platform architecture. Own end-to-end technical design and delivery for small to mid-sized projects, particularly in Snowflake, SQL, and modern data platform technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture for small/mid-sized projects, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Design technical frameworks and lead implementation across modules.
• Conduct PoCs to validate design and technology choices.
• Resolve performance bottlenecks and design issues.

Technical Leadership

• Guide and mentor internal teams through design, development, and deployment.
• Review and ensure high-quality, reusable code adhering to best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise coding standards.

Requirement Analysis

• Collaborate with business SMEs and analysts to gather functional and non-functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into technical components and solution architecture.

Stakeholder Management & Delivery Support

• Act as the technical representative across stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity.
• Support Scrum Masters/Project Managers with risk mitigation and technical planning.

Development & Implementation

• Hands-on development in SQL, Snowflake, DBT, Python, and Azure Data Factory.

Process Improvement & Quality

• Lead technical audits, identify areas for optimization (performance, security, scalability).
• Drive delivery excellence by identifying reusable components, patterns, and automation opportunities.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Contribute to internal knowledge bases through white papers, blogs, webinars, and training.
• Create reusable assets, reference architectures, and KT packages for onboarding and reuse.
• Provide estimations and solution inputs for proposals and sprint planning.
• Participate in architecture reviews for business development opportunities.
