About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Snowflake Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in Mumbai. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Snowflake data warehouse, ensuring its stability, performance, and scalability. This is a critical role to support our growing data infrastructure in alignment with operational objectives, specifically in the private equity space.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operation and management of the Snowflake data warehouse, ensuring high availability and performance.
Optimize Snowflake database for speed and efficiency, addressing any bottlenecks or issues.
Implement and maintain database security policies, including role-based access control (RBAC).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database architecture with business requirements.
Monitor Snowflake usage, costs, and performance metrics, and make recommendations for cost optimization.
Ensure smooth data migrations and integrations with other systems.
Provide on-call support for critical database issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Work on tuning SQL queries and improving database performance for optimal operations.
Keep up-to-date with Snowflake releases and best practices to ensure the platform is continuously optimized.

Key Qualifications:
