Job summary

Epam Systems in Pune, India is seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to design, implement, and optimize data solutions on Snowflake. You will work with Snowflake SQL, tables, stages, stored procedures, tasks, and possibly Snowpark; strong Python skills and API interactions are required, with familiarity in ETL/ELT and cloud data integration.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Snowflake SQL.
• Hands-on Snowflake features: tables, stages, store procedures and tasks.
• Knowledge of Snowpark (Python) is a plus.
• Strong Python skills with requests, json, pandas.
• Experience with APIs; FastAPI knowledge preferred.
• Good to know: Streamlit for internal apps.
• Basic concepts of Generative AI tools, agents, LLM integration.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud data integration.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize Snowflake-based data pipelines.
• Collaborate with data teams to implement ETL/ELT processes.
• Build and maintain APIs and internal apps with FastAPI/Streamlit.
• Leverage Snowflake features (tables, stages, procedures, tasks) in solutions.
• Explore Generative AI concepts for data-related tasks.
• Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across data platforms.
