Job summary

Epam Systems in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Lead Snowflake Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable data solutions on Snowflake's cloud platform.

You will lead data pipelines, optimize queries, build apps with Snowpark Python, and manage Snowflake environments across AWS and Azure, while collaborating with data scientists to productionize ML models.

Ideal candidates have 8 to 15 years in data engineering, 4+ years in Snowflake, and strong Python, Airflow and DBT skills.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of data engineering experience on cloud-based platforms.
• 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience including Snow SQL, Snow PLSQL and Snowpark.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud services.
• Experience with Apache Airflow and DBT for data modeling and orchestration.
• Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex AI's native AI/ML capabilities.
