We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and Cloud Data Platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions while ensuring high performance, security, governance, and data quality across enterprise data platforms. The role requires extensive experience in Snowflake architecture, data integration, performance optimization, data transformation, and cloud-based analytics solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, analytics teams, data architects, and engineering teams to build reliable and scalable data ecosystems that support business intelligence and advanced analytics initiatives.

What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data warehouses, data marts, and enterprise data platforms.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Build scalable ETL and ELT pipelines for batch and near real-time data processing.
- Implement data ingestion frameworks using Snowpipe, COPY commands, external stages, and cloud storage integrations.
- Design and develop data transformation, cleansing, and validation processes.
- Work with structured and semi-structured data formats including JSON, Parquet, CSV, and XML.
- Optimize Snowflake performance by managing compute resources, clustering, partitioning, and query tuning.
- Implement data governance, security controls, RBAC, masking policies, and access management frameworks.
- Design scalable solutions for reporting, analytics, and business intelligence workloads.
- Collaborate with business users, analysts, and architects to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support enterprise data migration and modernization initiatives.
- Monitor production environments and troubleshoot performance, data quality, and integration issues.
- Implement data quality frameworks and monitoring controls.
- Participate in architecture reviews and recommend improvements for scalability and performance.
- Create technical documentation, data models, data dictionaries, and operational procedures.
- Support CI/CD, release management, and deployment activities for data platforms.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 10–12 years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, and Analytics platforms.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in Snowflake Data Warehouse development and administration.
- Advanced SQL development skills including query optimization, stored procedures, views, and complex transformations.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Strong understanding of dimensional data modeling, star schema, snowflake schema, and data warehouse concepts.
- Experience implementing data ingestion and integration solutions using Snowpipe and external stages.
- Strong knowledge of structured and semi‑structured data processing.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, workload optimization, and cost management.
- Experience implementing RBAC, masking policies, data governance, and security controls within Snowflake.
- Knowledge of data quality frameworks, metadata management, and data governance practices.
- Experience supporting production environments and resolving complex data issues.
- Strong understanding of data integration, data migration, and modernization projects.
- Familiarity with orchestration and scheduling tools for data pipelines.
- Experience working with reporting, analytics, and business intelligence platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices, DevOps methodologies, and release management processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum-based delivery environments.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership initiatives.
