Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai seeks an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to design, build and optimize scalable data solutions using Snowflake, DBT, Python and PySpark.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant IT/Data Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT.
• Excellent programming skills in Python and PySpark.
• Strong expertise in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Good understanding of data modeling and ETL/ELT architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake.
• Build and optimize DBT models and transformation pipelines.
• Develop efficient data processing solutions using Python and PySpark.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale datasets.
• Design and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of Snowflake workloads.
• Work closely with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to understand requirements.
