Job summary

Bahwan CyberTek in Chennai is seeking a senior Data Engineer / Database Engineer to own and optimize data pipelines, data models, and Snowflake implementations.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL, and experience with Snowflake features and data warehousing concepts; exposure to Agile/Scrum and CI/CD is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Database Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience preferred. Strong SQL developers with solid data engineering/modelling experience.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake features (Streams, Snowpipe, Tasks, Snowpark etc.).
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schema).
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience with data pipelines and integration (Knowledge in ADO, GitHub, Liquibase is good).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments.
• Exposure to Kafka or similar streaming tools.
