Job summary

Careernet Bengaluru seeks a Senior Snowflake Data Architect to design and optimize enterprise data platforms. You will implement Snowflake databases, RBAC, pipelines, and data models, collaborating with teams across the organization.

The role emphasizes Python/SQL automation, dbt transformations, Airflow orchestration, and CI/CD practices to ensure reliable data delivery and governance within a large-scale data ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Experience designing Snowflake databases, schemas, warehouses, RBAC and workload management.
• Proficient in Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Materialized Views, clustering and Time Travel.
• Develop robust dimensional and normalized data models including Medallion layers (Bronze-Silver-Gold).
• Able to implement end-to-end transformations with dbt and Python; orchestrate with Airflow/ADF.
• Implement CI/CD workflows and integrate Snowflake with enterprise systems and APIs.

Skills Required:

• 10 - 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 6 years dedicated to Snowflake
• Snowflake architecture, implementation, administration, optimization, and troubleshooting
• Data engineering and data architecture experience, including dimensional/normalized modeling and Medallion layers
• Python and SQL proficiency for automation and data operations
• dbt for transformations and Airflow for orchestration; experience with pipeline reliability, performance, and governance

Good to Have:

• Experience with SQL-based data engineering practices and advanced SQL development

Education: B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc / BCA or equivalent in Computer Science or related fields
