Job summary

Ascendion in Gurugram is seeking a Snowflake Cortex/AI Engineer to design and deploy generative AI applications, LLM workflows, and data pipelines using Snowflake Cortex AI and Snowpark.

You will optimize SQL performance, integrate Cortex AI features, and build scalable AI solutions to reduce token usage, latency, and costs while enabling secure, reliable Cortex adoption.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and SQL with hands-on Snowflake experience including Snowpark and Cortex AI.

About The Role
This role addresses a critical expertise gap in Snowflake Cortex and enterprise AI engineering required to enable and scale the existing data agent across new data products. The specialist will establish governed semantic layers, improve response and SQL accuracy, and apply prompt, context, model, and query optimization practices to reduce token consumption, latency, Snowflake credits, and overall operating cost. The role will accelerate delivery, create reusable implementation standards, strengthen monitoring and controls, and enable secure, reliable adoption of Cortex capabilities.
