Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Snowflake DBA with 6–10 years of experience to manage Snowflake environments, handle role-based access, optimize warehouse performance, and ensure security and governance. You will monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and support cost control in an AWS cloud setup.

The role requires strong SQL skills, familiarity with DBT and SAP as a data source, and flexibility to overlap with a US-based team and provide on-call coverage during critical go-lives.

Qualifications

Job description

• Snowflake administration hands‑on experience, including:
  • User, role, and access management (RBAC)
  • Warehouse management and performance tuning
  • Security, networking, and governance
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support
  • Cost optimization and resource management
• 6–10 years of overall technical experience.
• Strong SQL skills (Experience working with SAP as a source system)
• Familiarity with DBT (used for transformation in Snowflake).
• Experience in an AWS cloud environment.
• Ability to work an overlapping shift with the US-based team member and provide on‑call coverage during critical periods (go-lives, hypercare).
• Strong accountability, ownership, and proactive communication.
• Fluent English (written and verbal).
