Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in technical consulting or IT delivery.
• SME level understanding of TLM config (all components), ETL, reports and scheduling tool functions.
• Strong Unix and SQL skills with domain knowledge.
• Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix organizations.
• Proactive in automating processes and providing SME level support to the team.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with team members, clients and manager (verbal and written).
• Provide SME level support to the team and handle in manager's absence.
• Troubleshoot environment, data control and operational issues.
• Proactively highlight issues and risks and provide regular progress updates to the manager.
• Contribute to SDLC processes and knowledge transfer within the team.

Job description

The Technical Consultant must have Excellent Technical skills and be able to demonstrate how they are applied within a global support environment. Good communication skills are a good for this position. Technical skills should complement the problem solving and communication skills to deliver a highly effective individual who is capable of adding real value individually and through a team.

Ensure accurate, timely and quality delivery of services provided within a risk free controlled environment, to ensure overall client satisfaction

• Communication should be strong to interact with Team members, clients and manager. – both verbal and written
• Should be having SME level understanding about TLM config(all components) / ETL/ Reports/ Scheduling tool function.
• Should take care of team in absence of manager
• Strong understanding and hands on experience with Unix, SQL and domain knowledge
• Good Team player and should be providing SME level support to team
• Willingness to adopt new technology and business process
• Should be able to troubleshoot environment, data control and operational issues.
• Take initiative to Automate and streamlining the process using scripts and scheduling tool
• Provide regular progress updates to the functional manager/ team Manager.
• Should have good client and management exposure
• High potential to deliver defect free service
• Should demonstrate proactive actions to highlight issues and risks
• Good understanding of SDLC process

Key Skills

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience.
• Relevant experience in one or more specific technical areas – TLM, Control-M, Airflow, ETL
