Job description

Role Overview:
To support S+N global and regional CRM/SFE initiatives, IT Commercial is building a CRM/SFE team. The team will involve in delivering, operating and supporting the upcoming CRM projects and services.

The CRM Manager will be delivering and supporting solutions and services that measurably improve IT and the Commercial business critical metrics. The individual will contribute to the definition and execution of the IT Commercial strategy and roadmap. The position requires strong leadership and a shown CRM design, implementation and support experience in large multi-nationals.

Key responsibilities:
As a Salesforce Manager, your primary responsibilities include leading all aspects of and running the development of Salesforce applications and solutions within an organization. Here are some key areas of responsibility for the Salesforce Manager.

  1. Team Leadership: You will guide a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. You will lead recruiting, hiring, and training new team members and handling their performance.
  2. Project Management: You will be involved in project planning, prioritizing tasks, and leading project timelines. Collaborate with partners, such as business analysts and product owners, to gain requirements and ensure successful delivery of Salesforce solutions.
  3. Technical Expertise: As a development manager, you should have a good understanding of Salesforce technologies, including Apex (Salesforce’s programming language), Visualforce, Lightning Components, and declarative tools like Process Builder and Flow. You will provide technical guidance and support to your team members, assisting with critical development tasks and problem-solving.
  4. Solution Design: You will work closely with business partners and solution architects to design scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements. You will participate in design discussions and provide recommendations on technical approaches and standard processes.
  5. Development and Customization: You will supervise the development and customization of Salesforce applications, ensuring consistency to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices. You may also be involved in coding and development tasks yourself, depending on the size and needs of the team.
  6. Release Management: You will be mentoring and owning the release process for Salesforce applications, coordinating with other teams such as testing, quality assurance, and operations. You will ensure that releases are well-planned, tested, and deployed with minimal disruption to business operations.
  7. Collaboration and Communication: Effective communication is important as a Salesforce Development Manager. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams, partners, and executives to understand business needs, provide progress updates, and address any challenges or risks. You will also facilitate knowledge sharing and foster a collaborative environment within the development team.
  8. Continuous Improvement: You will stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and industry trends, and evaluate how they can benefit your organization. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, find opportunities for process optimization, and suggest enhancements to existing Salesforce applications.

Location: Pune

Education:
Bachelors or Master’s degree in IT or Business

Licenses/ Certifications:
Salesforce.com Certified Sales/Service Consultant, Salesforce.com Certified Administrator, and/or Salesforce.com Certified Developer,
Training/certification in ITIL, Agile, Project Management preferred

Experience and skills:
Typically has 10 years of IT work experience, with at least 5 years in CRM management (SFDC) in global and critical environments.
Ability to understand and seek business and technology challenges related to the implementation of CRM technologies, delivering Social & Mobile Enterprise platforms, and designing and developing platform-based applications.
Experience in handling and deploying SaaS platforms.
Agile delivery and experience working with cloud-based technologies and methodologies.
Experience in governing multi-functional/cross-regions solutions and ability to implement processes end-to-end.
Good communication skills, exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills to a diverse set of audiences.
Ability to operate efficiently in a global multi-cultural environment and drive harmonization and standardization.
Experience in life sciences and/or medical device company preferred.
Experience in vendor management.

Physical Demands: Office (PC/Phone/Video Conf.) and meeting-based work with occasional International travel.
