Job summary

Nspira Management Services is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) / High School Subject Panel Member to drive academic excellence across High School branches in Bangalore and outskirts. You will lead subject implementation, mentor teachers, monitor student performance, and collaborate with Principals and the R&D team to ensure consistent standards across campuses.

The role requires a Master’s in the relevant subject with B.Ed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in the relevant subject and B.Ed. mandatory.
• 58 years of teaching experience in CBSE/ICSE schools.
• Proven experience handling Classes IX & X with strong Board examination results.
• Experience as HOD, Academic Coordinator, SME, or Teacher Trainer preferred.
• Personal laptop is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assigned subject across multiple branches and ensure effective curriculum implementation.
• Conduct branch visits, classroom observations, demonstration classes, and online academic support where required.
• Mentor teachers through regular feedback, coaching, workshops, and subject-specific training.
• Guide newly recruited teachers on curriculum, pedagogy, classroom management, and assessment practices.
• Maintain teacher performance trackers, recommend improvement plans, and support promotions as per organizational guidelines.
• Track student performance using data-driven analysis and implement interventions for both slow and advanced learners.
• Mentor Board examination students and support advanced learning initiatives such as NSTAR.
• Review lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, answer keys, and academic resources to ensure quality and curriculum alignment.
• Develop and maintain competency-based teaching-learning resources aligned with NCERT and CBSE guidelines.

Subject Matter Expert (SME) / High School Subject Panel Member

Department: Research & Development (Academics)

Location: Bangalore & Outskirts (Travel across assigned branches)

Role Summary

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for driving academic excellence across High School branches by providing subject leadership, mentoring teachers, monitoring student performance, strengthening curriculum implementation, and improving Board examination outcomes. The role involves close collaboration with Principals, teachers, and the R&D team to ensure consistent academic standards across all campuses.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership & Teacher Development

• Lead the assigned subject across multiple branches and ensure effective curriculum implementation.
• Conduct branch visits, classroom observations, demonstration classes, and online academic support where required.
• Mentor teachers through regular feedback, coaching, workshops, and subject-specific training.
• Guide newly recruited teachers on curriculum, pedagogy, classroom management, and assessment practices.
• Maintain teacher performance trackers, recommend improvement plans, and support promotions as per organizational guidelines.

Student Performance & Academic Quality

• Track student performance using data-driven analysis and implement interventions for both slow and advanced learners.
• Mentor Board examination students and support advanced learning initiatives such as NSTAR.
• Review lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, answer keys, and academic resources to ensure quality, accuracy, and curriculum alignment.
• Conduct Grade X spot evaluations and recommend corrective academic actions.
• Develop and maintain competency-based teaching-learning resources aligned with NCERT and CBSE guidelines.

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with Principals, teachers, and the R&D team to strengthen academic delivery and subject consistency across branches.
• Address teachers' academic queries and share best practices through regular interactions.
• Maintain branch visit reports, teacher and student performance trackers, and academic intervention reports.
• Utilize digital tools for academic tracking, reporting, and virtual coordination.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's Degree in the relevant subject.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• Additional certifications in Teacher Training, Curriculum Development, or Educational Leadership are preferred.
• 58 years of teaching experience in CBSE and/or ICSE schools.
