Job summary

Capgemini India is seeking a Sitecore Developer to join our digital platform team in Hyderabad. You will design and deliver Sitecore-based solutions using .NET MVC, Helix architecture, and modern CI/CD practices.

Ideal candidates have a strong Sitecore 8+ background, module experience, and hands-on API integrations. You will work in Agile sprints, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to high-quality, scalable digital experiences for our clients.

Qualifications

• Strong Sitecore 8+ development experience.
• Proficient in C#/.NET MVC with SOLID design principles.
• Experience with Sitecore modules and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop Sitecore-based solutions following Helix & Habitat architecture.
• Create reusable components and pipelines within Sitecore.
• Integrate with backend systems via APIs and add-ons.
• Configure Solr indexes and custom search configurations.
• Apply unit testing methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate in Agile delivery with TFS and Git.
• Own delivery through UAT and ensure requirements are met.

Role & responsibilities

• Strong and proven development experience in Sitecore version 8 and above
• Strong and proven development experience in C# .NET with MVC, Design Principals (DRY & SOLID) and OOPs Concepts is a MUST
• Mandatory to have development experience in
• Sitecore modules such as Glass.Mapper, Unicorn, TDS
• Sitecore APIs
• Reusable component development
• Customization using pipelines, commands and events
• CM CD environments
• Helix & Habitat architecture
• Solr search, custom indexes, Solr configurations with Sitecore
• Knowledge of unit testing methodologies
• Understanding of dependency injection
• Experience of working in Agile delivery methods, TFS, Git.
• Strong communication skills, good team player
• Taking ownership of any development requirements required to optimize the digital platform, as well as ensuring the requirements are delivered correctly during UAT.
• Developing custom integrations with add-on applications or services using APIs and custom code.
• Proficiency with Agile methodology
• Able to develop Sitecore applications on the changing technology landscape
• Strong communication skills to clearly consult with the business and deliver successful solutions.
