Job summary

Rapid Circle is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for the Data Management Platform in Bengaluru, India. You will ensure reliability, availability, security, and performance through DevSecOps practices, automation, and observability across data services.

In this role you will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to strengthen Data Governance, Data Cataloguing, Data Integration, and Data Quality using Collibra EDC and Azure Data Services while pursuing continuous improvement

Role Overview:

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) within the Enterprise Technology Data Management team, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, availability, security, and performance of the Data Management Platform. Operating within a true DevSecOps environment, you will work across both engineering and operations disciplines to build, run, maintain data management services through automation, observability, and software engineering best practices.

You will support and enhance enterprise data management capabilities, including Data Governance & Cataloguing, Data Integration, and Data Quality, with a strong focus on Collibra EDC, Microsoft Azure Data Services (Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, etc.) and Data Quality Tool. The role requires a proactive mindset, a strong operational focus, and a passion for driving platform reliability and continuous improvement.

What We Need from You Experience & Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in Information Technology, with relevant experience supporting enterprise data platforms.
• Proven ability to deliver results in a matrix organization through collaboration, influence, and delivery excellence.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ownership mindset with the ability to manage activities end-to-end with minimal supervision.
• Continuous learner with an interest in emerging technologies and evolving data management practices.
