Job summary

OPT IT in Bengaluru is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to enhance availability, performance, and scalability of applications and infrastructure through automation and proactive problem-solving. The role focuses on monitoring, incident response, and building deployment automation.

You will manage cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and configuration tools, implementing robust monitoring, logging, dashboards, and SLIs/SLOs to drive reliability and resilience.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Linux, cloud platforms, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Python/Bash, Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, incident management, and high availability.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor application and infrastructure health, availability, and performance.

• Familiarity with Agile and ITIL processes
