Job summary

Equifax Credit Information Services Pvt Ltd is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer - Intermediate to help build and run large-scale, distributed systems. You will implement IaC with Terraform across public clouds (GCP/AWS), deploy and support containerized microservices on Kubernetes, and enhance observability with Datadog.

You’ll join a 24/7 follow-the-sun rotation, collaborate with development teams on outages, and contribute to a blameless postmortem culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 4-10 years of overall technical experience in DevOps, SRE, Systems Administration, or Software Engineering.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in public cloud (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and container orchestration using Kubernetes/Docker.
• Scripting skills in Terraform for infra automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

• Deploy, support, and troubleshoot containerized microservices on Kubernetes (GKE/EKS).
• GitHub action workflows and groovy scripts for automated incident remediation, task automation, and pipeline integration.

• Participate in a 24/7 follow-the-sun operational rotation to manage, triage, and resolve production incidents.
• Collaborate with development teams to analyze outages and drive postmortems.

Site Reliability Engineer - Intermediate

What you’ll do

What experience you need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 4-10 years of overall technical experience across DevOps, SRE, Systems Administration, or Software Engineering.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience running and maintaining applications in a public cloud environment (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable).
• Working experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and container orchestration using Kubernetes/Docker.
• Practical scripting skills in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

What could set you apart

• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and automated security scanning tools within build pipelines.
