Job description

Are you passionate about building reliable, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure that powers mission-critical cybersecurity solutions? As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining the availability, performance, and resilience of production systems in a fast-paced technology environment. You will design and automate cloud infrastructure, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and manage containerized applications to enable secure, seamless software delivery. Working with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and modern observability tools, you will help minimize downtime, strengthen system security, and improve operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with development, security, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and continuously improve service reliability. This remote opportunity is ideal for an engineer who combines strong technical expertise, a security-first mindset, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities
  • Infrastructure as Code: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure using Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code practices to ensure consistency, repeatability, and efficient resource management.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Build, operate, and optimize AWS environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, security compliance, and cost efficiency.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Engineering: Develop, maintain, and enhance automated continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions to enable secure, reliable, and efficient software releases.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, supporting microservices architectures and ensuring effective orchestration, scalability, and resilience.
  • Production Deployment Management: Coordinate and execute production deployments, implement secure release practices, and minimize service disruption and downtime.
  • Monitoring and Observability: Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, AWS CloudWatch, or comparable tools to track system health, performance, availability, and security metrics.
  • Incident Management and Root Cause Analysis: Investigate production incidents, troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring failures.
  • Security and Vulnerability Remediation: Identify and address infrastructure vulnerabilities, apply security best practices, and ensure that cloud environments and deployment processes comply with established policies and standards.
  • Reliability Engineering: Define, monitor, and improve service-level objectives (SLOs) and service-level agreements (SLAs), strengthening system resilience and operational performance.
  • Automation and Continuous Improvement: Develop scripts and custom automation solutions to streamline operational tasks, reduce manual intervention, and improve infrastructure reliability.
  • Cloud Cost Optimization: Monitor infrastructure usage, optimize cloud resource allocation, and implement cost-management practices without compromising performance or security.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, security, product, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment workflows, resolve operational challenges, and support reliable product delivery.
Requirements
  • Professional Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure engineering, or a closely related technical role.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Expertise: Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services, cloud architecture, infrastructure management, and security‑focused operational practices.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Proven proficiency with Terraform and experience automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • CI/CD Technologies: Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, with an understanding of secure deployment workflows.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration, including experience supporting microservices‑based environments.
  • Monitoring and Observability: Experience configuring and managing monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and AWS CloudWatch, or equivalent platforms.
  • Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Demonstrated ability to investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurring incidents.
  • Linux and Networking: Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, infrastructure security, and system administration.
