Job summary

Fournine Cloud is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to design and implement self-healing automation and resilient infrastructure in Hyderabad. You will build auto-remediation workflows, observability dashboards, and reliability APIs to improve MTTR and uptime.

The role requires strong coding in Python/Go/Node.js/TypeScript/Shell, hands-on Kubernetes and cloud experience, and a passion for scalable distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Strong coding skills in Python/Go/Node.js/TypeScript/Shell.
• Experience with Kubernetes-based deployments and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in observability, metrics, tracing, logging, and SLOs using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Knowledge of reliability patterns and incident resolution to reduce MTTR.
• Familiarity with chaos engineering or synthetic monitoring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build self-healing automation, auto-remediation workflows and incident resolution systems.
• Develop internal SRE tools, reliability APIs, and operational dashboards.
• Implement observability stack metrics, tracing, logging, and SLOs.
• Design system resilience patterns: retries, circuit breakers, graceful degradation.
• Debug distributed system failures and latency issues to reduce MTTR.
• Work with Kubernetes, Docker, Linux and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Manage Terraform, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows.
• Understand distributed systems concepts: idempotency, async patterns, Kafka, caching, rate limiting.
• Collaborate on Kubernetes operators/controllers, ArgoCD, or chaos engineering and synthetic monitoring.

Role & responsibilities

• Build self-healing automation, auto-remediation workflows, and event-driven incident resolution systems
• Develop internal SRE tools, reliability APIs, and operational dashboards - Implement observability stack metrics, tracing, logging, SLOs using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
• Design and enforce system resilience patterns: retries, circuit breakers, graceful degradation, and fallback mechanisms
• Debug distributed system failures, investigate latency issues, and drive down MTTR
• Strong coding ability in Python/ Go/ Node.js/TypeScript/ Shell
• Kubernetes (required), Docker, Linux, and at least one cloud platform (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Terraform, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows
• Solid understanding of distributed systems: retries, idempotency, async patterns, Kafka, caching, rate limiting
• Experience with Kubernetes operators/controllers, ArgoCD, or chaos engineering - Background in synthetic monitoring or reliability testing
