Overview of the Role

As a Technical Lead specializing in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), you will play a pivotal role in managing technology projects and providing expert technical guidance to ensure service reliability, scalability, and operational excellence. Detailed Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of engineers in the implementation and adoption of SRE principles and best practices.
• Provide in-depth technical guidance and solutions, advocating for and enforcing high coding standards and modern engineering practices.
• Oversee the design, development, deployment, and reliability of critical systems and services, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Facilitate technical discussions and reviews, acting as a consultant for feasibility studies, architectural decisions, and technical risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with defined processes and quality standards within assigned modules or projects.
• Break down complex problems into manageable components and provide accurate estimations for project deliverables.
• Prepare and deliver regular status reports to stakeholders, proactively identifying and mitigating project risks and managing escalations to closure.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and innovation within the team.

Skill Requirements

Must-Have:

• Hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), including automation, monitoring, incident response, and system reliability practices.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, or similar).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and modern DevOps methodologies.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead engineering teams, fostering technical growth and best practices.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Other Requirements (Optional)

• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Google SRE, AWS Certified, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are advantageous.
• Experience with large-scale, distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
