Qualifications

• 16+ years of experience in infrastructure project management.

Responsibilities

• Implement project plans and commence execution on time and within budget.
• Review plans, benchmarks, and develop contingency strategies.
• Develop detailed work plans and monitor progress against them.
• Lead coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and teams.
• Ensure QA&I compliance and adherence to the budget.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans.

Job description

• Implement the project plan and commence execution, ensuring efficient implementation in line with time, cost, resource management, and specifications.
• Review project plans based on benchmark trends and develop contingency/back-up plans with alternate strategies to achieve project milestones.
• Develop detailed work plans and schedules to guide project activities and monitor progress against these plans.

Coordination and Stakeholder Management:

• Lead smooth and timely commissioning of the project through coordination with various stakeholders within or outside the company.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Facilitate regular progress meetings and reviews with stakeholders to keep everyone informed and address any issues promptly.

Quality Assurance and Budget Adherence:

• Ensure Quality Assurance & Inspection (QA&I) requirements are embedded into processes and project specifications by reviewing results as per Quality Plans.
• Ensure adherence to the approved budget for execution and achievement of project milestones as per the completion schedule.
• Implement cost control measures and monitor project expenditures to prevent budget overruns.

Risk Management and Problem Solving:

• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the project.
• Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project to maintain project momentum.
• Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date, including risk assessments and mitigation plans.

Team Development and Performance Management:

• Enable capability development of employees within the site through training and mentorship.
• Ensure timely goal setting, monitoring, review of performance parameters, and feedback to team members to foster continuous improvement and accountability.
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards on site.
