Job summary

Adani Group is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager for Anuppur, MP to oversee end-to-end civil engineering activities in the power/energy sector. You will manage site execution, ensure safety, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires 4–8 years of progressive experience, strong technical oversight, and effective stakeholder collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in civil engineering from a recognized university or institute.
• 4-8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering project management within the Power/Energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering activities from project initiation to commissioning, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Supervise and coordinate site activities while enforcing safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Review and approve drawings, designs and specifications to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors and suppliers to align procurement and work execution.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections.
• Assist in cost estimation, budgeting and expenditure monitoring.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain project documentation, reports and audit-ready records.
• Collaborate with clients, regulatory authorities and internal teams for project alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement and lead junior engineers and site staff.

Project Planning & Execution: Lead the civil engineering activities from project initiation to commissioning, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.

• Site Management: Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring safety protocols, construction methods, and environmental standards are strictly followed in alignment with Adani’s safety-first culture.
• Technical Supervision: Review and approve civil engineering drawings, designs, and specifications, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and industry best practices.
• Vendor and Contractor Management: Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure material procurement, resource allocation, and work execution are aligned with project requirements.
• Quality Assurance & Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to ensure all civil works meet the highest standards of quality and durability.
• Cost Management: Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and monitor expenditures to optimize resource utilization without compromising quality or timelines.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to civil construction activities and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project progression.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including progress reports, compliance records, and technical documentation to facilitate transparency and audit readiness.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between project teams, clients, regulatory authorities, and internal departments to foster effective communication and ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation and process improvements by incorporating lessons learned, adopting new technologies, and enhancing construction methodologies to increase efficiency and sustainability.
• Team Leadership & Development: Mentor junior engineers and site staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and teamwork in line with Adani’s leadership principles.
