Job summary

GE Healthcare in India is seeking a CAD designer to prepare site installation drawings of medical equipment in AutoCAD. You will follow technical requirements, collaborate with modality leaders, and ensure high-quality documentation and data integrity.

Engage with project managers across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and LatAm regions to resolve issues efficiently. Ongoing training will keep you updated on tools and processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare site installation drawings of medical equipment in AutoCAD based on technical requirements and documentation.
• Resolve issues using established procedures, escalating to supervisor for non-standard cases.
• Coordinate with Designers, Modality Leaders, and Project Managers to ensure accurate solutions.
• Communicate with customers across EMEA and Latam regions to resolve issues smoothly.
• Administer and review all required data along daily drawing production.
• Attend trainings to stay updated on technicalities and processes.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of site installation drawings of medical equipment in Autodesk AutoCAD for multiple modalities. Drawings based on the technical requirements, workflow needs, local specifications and other provided documentation.
• Independent resolution of issues using established procedures. Consulting supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• Communication with peers (other Designers and Modality Leaders) and customers (Project Managers of Installation) to ensure finding the right solution and resolving issues in a smooth and efficient way.
• Communication with customers from all EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and Latam regions.
• Administration and review of all necessary data along daily drawing production.
• Continuous attendance at various trainings to ensure actualization of knowledge regarding the technicalities and process.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering/Architecture

Required Qualifications

• Autodesk AutoCAD (or equivalent software) knowledge and experience - 2D.
• Fluent English language.
