Job summary

BinQle is seeking a Site Mechanical Engineer in Dolera, Gujarat with 6-15 years of hands-on experience to supervise erection, alignment, testing, and commissioning of major static and rotating equipment at project sites.

You will ensure compliance with drawings, OEM requirements, quality standards, and project schedules, leveraging hands-on alignment and start-up expertise. The role demands strong coordination with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in rotating equipment erection, alignment, and start-up.
• Reading GA drawings, foundation drawings, P&IDs and equipment datasheets.
• Familiarity with API standards and ISO alignment/vibration guidelines.
• Strong site execution, coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise erection and installation of major mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, motors, heat exchangers, columns, vessels, tanks).
• Perform and supervise precision alignment of rotating equipment using dial gauge and laser alignment systems
• Execute and supervise mechanical completion checks, pre-commissioning, flushing, bump test, and load trials
• Support start-up of rotating equipment, monitor performance, and troubleshoot during initial runs
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements, prepare documentation, and coordinate inspections
• Coordinate daily activities with internal teams, vendors, OEMs, and subcontractors
• Provide daily progress reports and assist with schedule recovery during commissioning phases

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves)

• Experience in rotating equipment erection, alignment, and start-up
• Experience in major equipment installation in industrial projects
• Hands-on capability with alignment tools (dial gauge, laser alignment systems)
• Knowledge of rotating and static equipment installation practices, OEM tolerances, and acceptance criteria
• Familiarity with API standards (API 610, 617, 618) and ISO alignment/vibration guidelines
• Ability to read GA drawings, foundation drawings, P&IDs, and equipment datasheets
• Strong site execution, troubleshooting, coordination, and communication skills
• Willingness to work under tight schedules and extended hours during start-up

Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned)

• Experience in FAT / SAT and vendor inspections
• Knowledge of vibration analysis
