Job summary

Adani Green Energy Limited is seeking an experienced Engineer - Maintenance (BOP) to oversee the maintenance, operation, and optimization of all Balance of Plant systems in renewable plants. You will lead techno-commercial procurement activities, coordinate with design and site teams, and ensure safety and reliability across electrical and mechanical domains.

The role requires 15+ years in techno-commercial/procurement within energy sectors, with MBA or certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of techno-commercial and procurement experience in renewable energy, power, or infrastructure
• Proven leadership of techno-commercial functions across projects
• Strong expertise in supplier management and strategic procurement practices

Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning and execution in line with engineering standards and project requirements
• Coordinate with design and site teams to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance

Job Purpose: Engineer - Maintenance (BOP) is responsible for the maintenance, operation, and optimization of all Balance of Plant (BOP) systems in a renewable energy plant, including mechanical, electrical, and civil components. This role ensures the efficient and safe operation of auxiliary systems such as transformers, switchgear, and other BOP equipment. The Engineer performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensures compliance with safety standards while contributing to overall plant performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field
• Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or a relevant discipline (preferred)
• Professional certification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related areas (e.g., CSCP, CPSM, CPIM)
• 15+ years of experience in techno-commercial and procurement roles within the renewable energy, power or infrastructure sector.
• Proven track record of successfully leading techno-commercial functions
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic procurement and supplier management
