Job summary

Opmobility is seeking a Site Launch Engineer to lead new product launches in a manufacturing environment, ensuring plant readiness for SOP and driving ramp-up to meet SQCD objectives. You will coordinate with Program, Production, Quality, Logistics, Maintenance and Engineering to validate processes, run pilot builds and manage validation trials.

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering and hands-on experience in product launch or manufacturing engineering are

• Experience in Product Launch, Industrialization, or Manufacturing Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-level new product launch activities from SOP readiness to ramp-up.
• Coordinate with Program, Production, Quality, Logistics, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
• Ensure manufacturing process readiness, cycle time validation, and industrialization activities.
• Drive APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan and launch quality requirements.
• Manage pilot builds, production trials, and validation runs.
• Monitor launch KPIs, production performance, defects, scrap, and corrective actions.
• Identify launch risks, track action plans, and ensure on-time project delivery.
• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Role & responsibilities

Site Launch Engineer

Function: Industrial / Manufacturing / Program Launch

Responsible for managing new product launches, ensuring plant readiness for SOP, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving successful production ramp-up while meeting Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery (SQCD) objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site-level new product launch activities from SOP readiness to ramp-up.
• Coordinate with Program, Production, Quality, Logistics, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
