Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a senior operations leader to head API manufacturing at a major site. You will drive operational excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen patient-centric collaboration with global customers while guiding expansion and efficiency initiatives.

Reporting to the Cluster Head, you will lead a large team, partner with R&D, engineering, and projects, and shape strategic plans to sustain growth and ensure quality across all functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of progressive API manufacturing experience.
• CDMO experience is mandatory.
• Strong leadership and regulatory know-how.

Responsibilities

Job description

The incumbent will be leading Operations of one of the largest API Mfg. sites, contributing significantly to Piramal Pharma Solutions' success. This position entails strengthening patient-centricity, collaborating closely with top-tier pharma companies globally, and ensuring seamless execution of expansion and enhancement projects in alignment with central project team initiatives. Moreover, this role involves awareness and orientation towards integrated projects/services within the business, emphasizing efficiency, collaboration, and strategic alignment across all functions.

The position will report to the Cluster Head

Head Production, Head TSD, Head R&D, Head SCM, Head Engg, and Head Projects will report to this position

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in API manufacturing within the pharmaceutical industry.
• CDMO Experience is mandatory
